Without further ado, I present the fianl two divisional semis.

Time for the divisional semi finals!

T1000 just scraped in 9-8, over Q.
The biggest win of this division's quarter final was Agent Smith showing no mercy to Ming, 14-3.

yak_boy11:35pm: Villain Battlepoll, Bundy Division, Quarter Final
It seems Bundy division is the one for the thrashings.
Darth Vader has taken down the record with a 17-0 victory over Baby Jane.

I must say that I was surprised to see "he who cannot be named" go down so early.
Lord Voldemort was defeated by Cardinal Richelieu, 10-8.

yak_boy7:06am: Villain Battlepoll, Gacy Division, Quarter Final
No landslides and no close calls in this division last round.

So, all I have to say is:
Khan! Khaan!!! Khaaaan!!!!!

yak_boy10:16am: Villain Battlepoll, Berkowitz Division, Quarter Final
The biggest loser of Berkowitz Round Two, was Lord Farquaad, who came up a little short next to Magneto (14-3).

Enough "comedy", on with the poll.

yak_boy9:49am: Villain Battlepoll, Dahmer Division, Quarter Final
We're starting to get to the pointy end of proceedings.

I'm thinking about trying something different for the eventual final.
What do people think about using a rating system instead of a round-robin?
In other words, you rank each finallist out of ten, and whoever gets the highest average wins.

Let me know what y'all think.

yak_boy10:16am: Villain Battlepoll, Bundy Division, Round Two
Well, I believe the biggest shellacking so far has been dealt to Noah Cross.
He was defeated 13-0 by HAL9000.

Tomorrow we start on round three, so get those votes in.

yak_boy11:31am: Villain Battlepoll, Berkowitz Division, Round Two
We had one tie in round one of Berkowitz division.
Toht v Lady MacBeth.
I flipped a coin and it came up for Toht.

Wile E. Coyote was the biggest winner, with 92.9% of the vote over The Buggers.
The vote count was 13-1.
Intriguingly, Gauron also only polled 1 vote, but The Nothing only scored 11.
I guess the question was too hard for some people.

yak_boy8:35am: Villain Battlepoll, Dahmer Division, Round Two
Okay, Dahmer Division, Round One, is closed.

There were a couple of close calls with Spike and Ming winning by only one vote over Cthulhu and Damien respectively.

The biggest landslide was Agent Smith defeating the Beyonder, by 18 votes to 1.

yak_boy10:28am: Insidious Tentacle
So that nasty little critter, Purple Tentacle, slimed his way into the polling in two different divisions.

In other words, I screwed up (again).

Under the cut is a replacement villain for y'all to vote on.
Purple Tentacle has been escorted out of Bundy division and back into Gacy division where he belongs.

Replacement QuestionCollapse )
Current Mood: embarrassed

Here it is, the final division.
Exciting, isn't it?

I'm not sure when I'll start closing the polls, but I guess I'll do it when I'm ready to post the next one.
